Each paper has 30 items and a 60-minute timer. You choose answers, flag items to come back to and use the question grid to see what is left. When you submit, the app scores against the 21/30 mark JASPA publishes for Class 3 and lets you review every item.

Every subject also has items on measuring tools, materials, calculations and the law, as in the real papers.

Japanese made easier to read

The real test has no furigana. In the app you can switch 振ふり仮名がな on to read every kanji while you learn, then off once you are used to it. Every item and every option has a Vietnamese and English translation that appears only when you ask, so you do not come to depend on it.

Rewritten questions, redrawn figures

The questions are written by ViMai for the Class 3 textbook scope and the four-choice format. Figures such as engine cross-sections, brake diagrams and calipers are redrawn. JASPA publishes its previous papers on its own site and the app does not copy them. Use the app to understand the material, then use JASPA's past papers to get used to the real wording before test day.

Review your mistakes

Items you miss are saved. The explanation says why the right answer is right and why the other three are wrong. With VIP, every item also has a reading tip: which words in the item let you eliminate options quickly.

Are the mock papers like the real test?

The format is the same: 30 four-choice items, 60 minutes, the Class 3 textbook scope. The questions are written by ViMai, not real or original JASPA questions.

How many papers are free?

Papers 1, 2 and 3 of each subject: 9 papers (270 items), with furigana and Vietnamese and English translation.

Where can I find JASPA's past papers?

JASPA publishes previous papers and answers on its 過去の問題・解答 page. The app does not reproduce them.

How do I review a finished paper?

The app scores against 21/30, lists your missed items and explains each one. Missed items are collected for review later.
